*update*
It's only been less than 3 mnths since the last time I reviewed Enjoy 1+1 cafe, and already the quality of the food has gone downhill:
Past 2 occasions: I ordered the suite-choy pork meat vermicelli on soup, the whole thing tasted watery: like they just added some hot water just to make enough soup to serve me one more bowl....
ordered Nan yan lak sa twice : last weekend's one was absolutely terrible: they overloaded the soup base with curry powder (suspect that the chief didn't prep the soup or anything properly, so in a hurry he tossed big scoops of curry powder into the mix---as a result: the laksa tasted bitter and overpowering...
2 tables from me was an old couple where the lady ordered the same laksa just like mine: her's was equally as terrible (she complained) and also discovered a shred of plastic bag in the soup.....she complained to the manager and instead of appologising, he plead ignorance: ".....I wouldn't even know if I were you..." absolutely pathetic excuses for not living up (suck up) to the occasion...
and then the absolutely terrible 3-mix combo meal: ordered pork chops and chicken steak the pork chop was hard and tasteless.....
I'm moving on to newer territories now...that place is no longer tolerable.
