I usually just buy the ready cooked duck eggs. more expensive but i've had good ones 90% of the time so far..."sandy and oily."

b-jai. i am impressed that steaming for 25 mins and eggs won't get old! What is the portion of water to eggs nei? Thx for sharing!
I am actually doing steam eggs in microwave tonite for the first time. I added cooked duck eggs and century eggs. Will see how it turns out la. ;0 Wish me luck!

oh, so it's b-jai's creation! okie!!!! I thought it's 2 different verions tim.

I still shopping around for best duck eggs. want to add black eggs for veriation too.

It's for 2 meals basically. I always cook extra and pack for lunch the next day or for another dinner. No time to cook. gotta make short cuts.

Salty fish - i bought from China town. The huge ones that smells good. Medium hard. I like the "mui" kind. They will cut in pieces for you and even air tight each piece. You store in freezer. Keeps forever!

Thanks! I have a 10 inch glass plate about 1.5 inch deep. I guess i'll have to steam for longer la.
