Didn't have time to type before. Here's what happened...
I tried a massage pillow fr. a friend who bought it in Aberdeen Osim. She told me it's $125. I went there. A girl insisted that it's not a model they have NEVER carried and pointed at a latest model for $145. I tried it but didn't like it at much. I went on to explain what my friend's look like. She just ignored me and walked away while I was talking to her! When I was about to leave, she said my friend probably bought it from Singapore or something and she's worked in this location for 2 years and never seen it! I reconfirmed that my friend got it from her store and she rolled her eyes and shook her head at me. She finally decided to check her company's web without talking to me anymore. I left the store. A minute later, she caught up to me in the mall and yelled from behind that she checked with her manager and it was a model from last year! She didn't look at me or say excuse me but just talked and walked away like a passer-by. I even said thank you but regret it. By then, I was mad. Her attitude was very uncalled for! Every body language, tone, and gesture made me feel like I was bothering her for wanting to buy something! So, I said loudly while she walked away: "See! working for 2 yrs at a store doesn't mean you know everything!"
I called my friend later and she said she'd checked for me days ago before me and the same "I've worked here for 2 year" sale said the same thing to her.
3 days later, I went back hoping to find another more helpful sale. I asked for the exact price of the new model (although it's not as good as the old model but since it's placed on a chair too soft, it probably decreased the support). This new girl said $154. I asked why the price increase from 3 days ago. She said (pointing at the display one) it's the last model and they don't plan to get anymore in. I said: "so this used one costs more because it's the last one?" She said Yes. @_@. I asked (noticing the manager/owner was at the counter): "Could you double check if you will order more coz it's your newest item?". She insisted that they won't sell this anymore. I commented that it's strange. Right away, she changed her answer and said will get more in 2 mths. So I asked again: "you still selling this try-out model for higher?". She insisted!
