I was listening to AM 1470 this morning, and they were calling for stem cell donations.  They were asking volunteers to sign up at onematch.ca.  At one point in the radio show, they were saying how stem cell donation now doesn't involve taking fluid from your spinal cord and it's the same as donating blood.  BUT, when I went to onematch.ca, it seems to suggest otherwise.  Anyone know more about this?

So stimulated peripheral blood stem cell donation is the "new" method that's supposed to be safer - that's the one that they talked about on radio but not on onematch.ca
