| I think plastic bags or not, it's a matter of habbit. It may sound like a drastic measure, but if supermarkets no longer supply any plastic bag, people will have to adjust by bringing their own bags. From an environment stand point, this will be the most effective method to elimiate pastic bags use. However, the same cannot be said from a customer service stand point: "what happens if the customer did forget to bring their own bag and they're taking a 30 mins bus ride home?" A realistic transition has to be implemented, but seriously, saving the earth is everyone's responsibility, we can't always blame the government/businesses when we haven't done our part. Look at the weather these years! When was the last time you saw cherry blossoms in February? |
