It can be very frustrating to find a hair stylist who can give you a simple, satisfying haircut. I've been trying random places here and there and still couldn't find a good one. The price does not guarantee a nice cut; I had a $40, $30, $20 cut before and it did not make a difference to my standard. It really just depends on your luck. Since the price might not necessarily reflect the skills of the hair stylist, I am thinking of to try this "Hair Technique" that I passed by today. They charge only $15.

Anyone tried this place before?

i haven't found any place i like either~ so i just let my hair run wild and trim it myself occasionally XD

Could ppl tell that you trimmed it yourself?

I used to do that too, but not anymore. Hair is like the first thing ppl would notice while looking at you...so, don't wanna take that risk.

貴不一定好,但便宜的則大多數不好.
始終是商業社會, 有本事為何要收平?
需要慢慢去試, 有可能的則給多次機會.

You got a point there. Location is a factor too.
Normally I give them a chance at least twice unless they screwed up big time during the first visit.

I think it depends on the stylist not on the hair salon itself...  Even in the same place you can ask for different hair stylist...
