I am not a socialist. I much rather public funds be put into aerospace than handouts. What China should do to improve poverty is to fight corruption. Feeding poor farmers shouldn't be in their agenda to begin with. More education dollars are lost through corruption, esp in rural areas than money actually going through to the children. What they need is not to put in more $ into education, it's to fight corruption. The money is much better spent, in my opinion, on this probe than to feed more corrupted rural officials in the name of education fundings.

Thx for noticing that my opinion stinks. Now you know what your opinion smells like and how your sh_tty offensive remarks makes it unbearable for many. At least if you are able to stay rational and objective on your discussion, it ONLY stinks, instead of make you look like a China bashing idiot (the extreme opposite of peter...).

Thinking that China should spend 0 on aerospace and contribute all these funds to social spending is the leftest thing I've heard on this whole thread. You might think you are center-right, doesn't make you one.

I think I have said what I needed to say on this topic. People are always going to argue both sides, maybe because they firmly believe in their points, or maybe they are just arguing just for the sake of winning the argument. Either way I don't really care.

I just hope people here will actually objectively look at the facts I have presented and take something away from them. Hopefully this will contribute in how they will formulate their future opinions on various matters, esp concerning China's policies and concerning Space exploration in general.
