Everything is relative... I always criticize the lack of accountability of officials in Canada/Vancouver (compared to HK/Singapore, etc), along with astronomical housing prices (compared to rest of Canada) & a relative lack of employment opportunities (compared to San Fran, Silicon Valley, etc).

But not-perfect doesn't mean it can't be the best. It just means that when all factors are considered, it's better than the others.

Vancouver is the best, but that is no excuse to slack off, as there's still tons of room for improvement (on aspect that can be improved that is... you can't do much about the weather... for example). Add Oil all Vancouverites!
