Depending on which way. Into the US, no; not anymore. Backing back into Canada, assuming you are citizen, they will have to let you back in, but they may make you sit at the border for hours until your identity check out.
Their priority is to secure the border; keeping travelers through in a timely manner is not part of their job. It is for your own interest to have everything ready for inspection. |
