dumb question here....
one touch dial = one key press? or one button is ok? my "button" is a dial that can "dial to the contact list" and press to call...that sounds ok then?

Well...I guess I'd ok to answer phone call...since it's one touch receive ...
But dialing...still need to "search the contact list"...unless I take out the phone and do one-touch dialing, to me it still seems pretty dangerous, even though it's ok w/ the law.

I am using Tom Tom navigation and it never asks me to press a button once the destination is set. And that's done before take off the trip. The only time I press something during the trip is that when I want to change day/night colour scheme. But I do it as passenger, not as the driver.

That's true too, need to take out phone first, unlock and then dial....
So the best is to NOT dial any phone...only receive call then it's truly "one touch".

Regarding GPS software...time to get a tom tom
