I think townhouse would be more expensive, assuming same sq and location.
You got a bit more "land" right.
I think townhouse would be better because you can have a bit of gardening done, also, more privacy.

Heard a lot of stories that car got break in when park in the underground parking.
Having attached garage would be more "safe" la.
