I think it just depends on the deal itself. I still get groupon deals. Whoever has better deal and customer service, who get market shares.

May be I'm not familiar with Kijiji, I used groupon a few times and no problem using the coupon.

On the other hand I don't buy books....so the indigo deal doesn't interest me. I bought a craft show 2 for 1 ticket few days ago from Groupon.

It's good for customer anyway to have more choices. Hope they both have more good deals.

Just talking about the name...I like groupon... more than kijiji...it sounds like japanese name to me and i have no idea what that is... but groupon is easier to "figure out". And customer service on groupon seems pretty good because I have seen response from admin on forum frequently. Actually for Vancouver deals, there are other similar sites as well. Some has better deals than groupon (for the same store promotion)...it's good to shop around! I trust groupon more because it has been around for longer time. Whether groupon will "die" or not I think it just depends on the deal it gives out. As long as it gives out good/decent deals and maintain decent customer service I don't see it will "die" in near future.

Facebook and twitter to me are two totally different things. FB is more for mini-games and twitter is just text base status update. I won't compare those two. And I don't twitter as well.

Craigslist and groupon-alike (e.g. kijiji) sites are two diff things...one is for buy and sell listing..one is for group buy deal....

Craigslist is similar to ebay but even when ebay is so popular, craigslist doesn't "die"....although....I don't use craigslist myself.... it's such an hassle to deal with ppl ...lots of viewing, pick up ...etc...

I heard that company put jobs on craigslist but personally I won' t search job there...
