it really depends on your employer. but usually for full-time, you at least get a 30-min lunch plus 15-min breaks. the place I work for now gives a 1 hour lunch plus 2 breaks. i have also heard some places don't have set lunch hours and you can go for as long as you want (2-3 hrs), as long as you get work done.
what kind of place are you working at? it also depends on your field. a lot of office jobs don't have set lunch hours or time, but most retail would almost be dead set on the time since your lunches has to be in shifts. |
