Your mother is a woman.  There is a woman on the street.  Is that woman your mother? ...

That's not even an equivalent analogy

47% of visible minority in Vancouver
Police force consisted of people selected from Vancouver
Police force made up of roughly 47% of visibly minority

I think this assumption makes sense

My mother is a woman
There is a woman on the street
Every individual can only have one biological mother
The woman on the street COULD be my mother but the probability that she is in fact my mother is low
And it is not possible that all of the woman on the streets are my mother

You're saying that white people aren't typically sighted working in Chinese restaurants because they live in their own niche and white people wouldn't want to work in a Chinese restaurant in the first place
You're right

But why do you think "minorities" wouldn't want to work at RCMP?
Ive seen alot of Asian RCMPs before. In fact, I know two chinese friends training to become an RCMP. I have Caucasian friends as well but none of them are RCMPs..
What you're saying right now is that RCMP is full of white people. But I disagree. IMO I think the RCMP is made up of more minorities as you would think.

I think Austin meant that he angered you by his statement

That's your interpretation.

We can disagree.  I know what I read.

I think this may be your problem
It doesn't matter to you what other people truly think or what is in fact the truth out there
If YOU THINK that they're insulting you or discriminating you whatsoever.. In your mind.. they are insulting/discriminating you.. disregarding the fact that people aren't actually doing that

I can't control what you do
But I know acting this way will only make your life miserable
I suggest that you try listening more and do less finger pointing

This is, of course, my opinion. I did not intend to insult you in anyway. I was merely trying to help you ease your pain and understand the situation.
If you dislike what I've said then please ignore my suggestions.
