Actually, I was telling many friends of mine to think of immigrating.  I told them for their health, for their future, for their children, it's much better to leave Hong Kong.  But for many people, they don't even look at that option.  They just blindly complain that it cost too much to immigrate, and they don't have the money to go somewhere else.  When I listed that there are other ways outside of 投資移民, they still brush the topic off.

exactly the same, I was telling them why not coming here or other places. But then you know what they said? "Nah, its too boring to living in Canada or USA. You guys have to drive hours of time to go buy grocery, and the only entertainment are cutting grass and going to church. Also, I don't want to keep eating steak, potato and chips everyday like what you did" <--- I told them so many times that there are lots of hk style food here and I dont eat Caucasian very often. Obviously, they have prejustice and didnt listen to me

hk people open business with only chinese name on their logo, the only affect is, the local people dont know what those shops are for and they may feel a bit about how come those chinese men are not respecting enough to use English.
but in hk...........

Everyone know that the China gov and some of those chinese citizen are trying to FORCE every person in China use the same language and writing. That is a RAPE, an attempt to elimination, of other people culture

the shops/stores/restaurants in other countries who do business with chinese or any other foreign people, they will use the tourists' languages in their menu or whatever in their business. Yet, they will still keep their own languages.

also, not only business, hk gov was trying to use simplified chinese as well. people hate it

what I mean is, yes, in some case we will just use our own languages for stuffs (menus in restaurants, business logos, etc) in other people's society. But we DID NOT actively force other people to use our language

well, that is the point. We Canadian go to US to shop for cheaper things, but at least most of us follow their culture and we didnt force them to follow our culture

look at hk now.....
they came hk to shop, yes, but they try to use their money to force hk to give up our own culture.

well, it is because someone here (u or peter or who else? I forgot, too lazy to go back to find out) try to compare the Canadian go to USA to shop with the mainlanders go to HK to shop (and give birth, and pee and **** on the garbage bin in the mall, bought all the baby formulas etc and etc)
