中国x眾

i saw a passat today, at the trunk, just below the model name "PASSAT", i saw the words "中国x眾", does it mean the car is made by wv and "中国x眾",  i don't know what is the third word.

I think this is just the dealership tag or manufacturer tag that is put on every car in China. You haven't seen them before?

if you go to china..you will see the chinese tag on most of the vw...i think thts just how it is in china
