Here in Canada, the transit companies are doing the same thing ...

But not same here la..  say bus fares ..  ~ double (or 3 times in HKD) in last 15 yr ..  I think it was $1.5 back then .. ( $8HKD) and now, $3 ($24HKD)

I think in last 15 yr .. MTR fare is almost the same~ ~

I say it is normal ..  HK$$ is dropping daily .. ( thx to AMERICAN )  MTR is making money, since lots of traffic, and give credit to them, for such a low cost, still making $$$ ..

VS Canada? everything is damn expensive, and still, every city claims they are LOSING money .... (I can understand why bus fare here is 3 or 4 times more then HK, even lower gas price, lower bus price .. but high labour cost, and less population)

I just don't understand, why people in HK need to complain with those "peanut" price increase.. (what, 2/3% in general?) but Luxury items, such as Hermes bags, Porsche, Ferrari etc ..  with 20-30% .. price increase, and people don't complain? but just buying! (not even talk about the FRY price .. )

Well, may be as a "Canadian Chan", almost everything from HK/China/asia etc is still cheap .. ( non Luxury item )
