Portland is no sales tax...

That is why I said .. for me la..  I am albertian ar ma ..  We dont pay state tax in Washington state .. and no PST ..

(however, we pay much higher property tax, higher monthly bill .. and almost everything is more expensive here .. so .. break even la... )

Yeah .. some "fixed" price items ..  such as Mac, DSLR, Rolex .... etc ..  I dont mind to buy for my Van friends..and just bring over to them as I go Van 3-4 times a yr anyway ...  (and go Seattle with them, in order to save all taxes..  duty .. )

Too bad, I can't pay porperty tax, water and power bill from BC to my home ..
