Put it this way ..  20 yr ago .. or even 10 yr ago ..  when u said you are chinese ... probably not much respect ...  and not much service u get from retail stores ..  when u said you are from HONG KONG ..  u got better service ....

But now?? service level?  CHINA > JAPAN > Hong Kong > TW > some other asian countries!!  (Excluse Brunie, but minority)

Again ..  see what Peter will say ..

I agree with mostly what you said. We just need to have respect for our own ethnic group.
