If you said CPP purposely trying to eliminate Cantonese, please show your evidences, don’t just BS about your 陰謀論 and use it as your supporting evidences. There are less and less aboriginal people speak their own languages. I don’t think there are many TV channels showing aboriginal language programs and I won’t be surprised if there is none. Will you say the Canadian government purposely tries to eliminate the aboriginal languages?

What is the mission of general school? Isn’t it to teach children the knowledge and skills they need to be able to develop their career and future? Language skills are essentially crucial to their career development. Can I ask how good is your Mandarin? Do you have Cantonese accent? Have you ever encountered difficulty in finding a job because of your language deficiency?

You can certainly deny it and say you have never encountered this kind of problem. What I can tell you is that I had seen many when I was evolved in projects in China. It is especially challenging to young people who are from the non-Mandarin speaking regions. Some types of job even require that they must pass the Mandarin oral skill test (at least level 4). Do you know about this? I believe you don’t.

Cantonese is a dialect and the main mission for general school is not to protect a local dialect. To protect it should be the mission of other specialized organizations. General school is to give children the skills to survive and excel in the cruel society they will face in the future.

Don’t just use the excuse of being from China as a defence of your BS. Show us the evidences and state your points clearly and logically to convince people.

If you cannot show the evidences, then don't made bold statements and call them the facts.
