以我所知所有面包類和榚點都係要比HST. 一向以黎駛5駛比稅真係好混亂, 好似係呀爸顛二樓間大隻廣甘, 門口大大隻字寫住"WE PAY HST", 但其實涼果同d朱牛肉干就跟本5駛比稅........羊先生麻煩幫幫忙去報個警.

when we buy 6 or more, they treat that as your necessity of food, so you don't pay tax on your daily food supply.
If you buy less than 6, they treat it as a luxury and you have to pay tax.

So Peter, it is only 6 or more, no need to be in multiple of 6

NO, I never been charged for HST/GST  when I buy plain bread,
crusty roll, french bread, Multi-grain bread.
On the other hand,  cocktail buns, Cha Siu Bao are classified as pastries
which is subjected to GST since 1991

"唔係1蚊幾毫問題"... No offense, but I think it is 1蚊幾毫.  It is your own fault that you are buying 5, the sales lady did nothing wrong to remind you about "buying 6".

I think she might have an attitude problem that day, but I've been there a lot of times and they've always been really nice...
