The Chinese don't have language problems when they shop in mainland China.
Only some of them shop in HK.
When they shop in Europe, they receive better service, unlike in HK where the service industry is not as polite.

Not to mention the first two decades (from 80 to mid 90's）of china's open door period, during which most HK investors 輸到扑街 in china.
