Note that, the money is mostly from international investors. Local HK money is small in size.
Remember, HK stock exchange is international.

The investment money is mostly money from international investors, not HK money.
HK stock exchange is just a platform for international investors to invest in Chinese stocks listed on the stock exchange.
Chinese companies listed on HK's stock exchange are not taking money from HK, like you claimed.

International investors, foreign banks and institutional investors like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and foreign mutual funds etc, buy Chinese stocks through the HK stock exchange.

I don't blame you for not realizing that though.

HK government benefits from the stock transaction fees and the stamp duty. The accountants, lawyers and related financial analysts benefit from Chinese stock listing.

You took a long time to come up with something huh ?

Note that,  the values that I quoted were solely referring to HK IPO .
Besides, the so-called international line-ups were brought in mostly, if not all,  through HK go-betweens like 梁伯滔 and the likes beginning at the 90's.

I don't blame you for not realizing that,  as I know the history that you've learnt is truncated.

International investors are free to participate in all IPOs in Hong Kong as HK stock exchange is international.

HK benefits from Chinese companies listings. That's what make Hk stock exchange big, active and international.
Local HK companies IPOs are relatively small.

International investors, foreign banks and investors like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and foreign mutual funds, buy Chinese stocks through the HK stock exchange.

HK government benefits from Chinese stock transaction fees and the stamp duty. Jobs are created for accountants, lawyers and the financial industry.

Admit the fact Peter,  your nation companies scooped the largest slice of the pie.
HK benefited only from middleman commissions.
Besides, at the first decade of the 90s.  international investors 識你青島啤 & 中移動 係老鼠。

Admit what fact? What do you mean by  "scooped the largest slice of the pie"?

That's the purpose of a stock exchange, a place where international investors buy stocks. No one is forcing any person to buy.

I told you already that the money is mostly from international investors, not local HK investors, like you claimed.

Hong Kong is an international financial center and benefits as the middleman, just like London and New York.

I guess you are running out of points, after I exposed your logical flaws.

Clearly you don't even know how a stock exchange functions.
