The top tier are always made with Candied fruit cake for keeping property,
as for the decoration, I would make them with Gum Paste, Mazipan or White Chocolate tinted with pastel colour. The decorates would keep for months, while
the cake is kept frozen to be consumed at the 1st anniversary

yep... i think they did great jobs in decorating my wedding cake. The boss woman there would give you quite many selection of wedding cakes. she will ask you if you want to bring in flowers to decorat ...

oh.... by the way, for wine, i use yellowtail in case you are thinking of buying red wines for ur guests. they are really cheap and also taste good for their prices.

we will get a bit yellow tail from our banquet restaurant also..coz we need to meet their minimum XD good to know that this one is good~~ coz i dun drink wine

chrichri , do you have pic of your wedding cake?  Did you get a discount there too?  I am thinking of getting my wedding cake at Kam Mo Fong too.

i am glad it helps.
ya, i think yellowtail tastes good, but if you like, just buy one first to buy with ur friends or family before you order lots.

hope you enjoy your wedding cake and wine...

by the way, since you and lizzie and some other ppl are thinking to buy bakery cards, i would suggest you to pair up with them to get the best discount with the cake and cards...
