I don't like to eat HK style cafe food... So lots of those "平又好味" food in Richmond is out of our list.

Bby has a lot of choices. vs Richmond is mostly HK style cafe and Shanghainese food. Yes, I like my Taiwanese food and some Pho in Richmond but that's about it. (we don't go to wanton noodle house as well)

Near Metro, there is Lao Shan Dong, The One, 508 Bistro, Alvin Garden, Nao sushi (ex Sushi House... totally diff from current yucky one in Richmond), Pho Hon, Anatolia's Gate (Turkish food) and Hi Genki (Japanese Homestyle food).

There are some that I want to try but have yet tried them:
Potter Garden Korean, Makoto sushi, Green Basil and there is a Thai restaurant in the Edmonds area that I want to try as well but I forgot the name.

布小熊, that Thai restaurant on Edmonds is good and we like it more than Green Basil.

The Sushi place at the old Johnson house location is cheap and good.  We like it more than SushiGarden.  There is another sushi place at the mall where London Drag is.  Happy House (Korean) is good, especial their spicy deep fry chicken (well, not Korean disk but it is really good if you like spicy).  There is another Korean beside the gas station and their bbq use real charcoal and is excellent.

Saffron is good if you like Indian food. Butter chicken!!!
They have lunch buffet for ~$10.

There is a Shanghainese place in Crystal Mall food court that I think they are pretty good ^^

Saffron lunch buffer is $12.95 if I could remember.  My caucasian coworker's favorite but I'm just okay.

The sushi place next to Saffron used to be pretty good too.

There is a BBQ place just open in Crystal Mall, northern style BBQ.  I love it. 1.25 each shrewer.
