That's exactly what my aunt did before. They don't have a enclosed garage and her old car got broke in a few times. So eventually she just leave all door/window open.

Ya it costs more to replace window, as deductible is up now.
And the mess with broken glasses everywhere.

That's why I went with Canadian Direct with only $200 deductible. Used that twice already.
