do you guys know about the RBC cash reward card? its offering 5% rebate on grocery until March next year,
i checked my monthly bill, and we really spent avg 700 for the last 3 months.
If it's $700 for 3 months so it's around $233 per month. It's not too far off from the budget ($50/week) talks about in the beginning of this thread.
But if it's really $700 each month it's really a lot to me....of course...need to know how many people in the family here...if it's family of 4 then it makes more sense...
I think veggies and fruits are generally cheap at any asian market. I usually will go to Costco or Superstore to get a bulk pack of meat (chicken, pork, etc) and freeze them into small packages and eat it for like...2 weeks. Even better I have friends who recommended me to marinate the meat before freezing them so when you thaw them for cooking it is already pre-marinated.
last time lobster on sale was about $6.89 on tnt, and i got 1 for about $17-18 dollars.
also what kind of rice you guys use?
i buy the roaster brand at superstore, was $24.99 for a largest size I forgot the size, should be 20 or 30kg.
I know one of my coworker buy the expensive japanese rice at japanese store ga.. ho crazy expensive.
