I agree with Purpleheart, most of my friends moved back to HK/Macau....
It's a topic my bf and I debating/discussing lately...should we move back to Asia or should we stay in canada....

Not sure are we too old to move back....Most of our friends moved back in their early 20's...

some of my friends moved back to Hong kong but still could not find the steady job neither...

It's better to plan and try to find a job first before moving back.

The fact is, either move back in the 20's  ... or 60's la...

I ALMOST moved back few yr ago, when I was still in the 20's la..

Now?  3X yr old, NO MOTIVATION for better career anyway, and with new born baby ...  I prefer to stay here, and go HK or whereever for 1 month or so travel every year... ^_^

But at least, for most of us, we have a choice, we can stay if we want, and we can go if we want. unlike 95% people in HK, they can go nowhere.

I've lived in Canada too long. Can't adjust to HK living anymore. I just go back for vacation. I miss my friends though who moved back to HK, Malaysia, TW, etc. but I am lucky that my hubby, although a native honger, doesn't want to move back to HK.

Catty, you go to HK for a month each year, go to the Rockies and Banff every month, come to Vancouver and the US a few times a year. You have a very enjoyable lifestyle that everyone would yearn for.

45 min to drive to banff .. that is! It takes more time to drive around town during busy hour! for people in Vancouver, wont go Banff that often la since that is 9 hr drive ..  but you guys can go to US in just ~ 1-2 hr.

But then, many LYK I know, they go HK few times a yr  ...  ( Van to HK, cheaper ticket, and 5 hr less, compare to from Alberta )

Some of my good friends ( some LYK ) are in Van ...  it is good to visit them, play with their kids, and have chinese food!!!

Compare to most local Canadian, we hongers don't travel that much for sure ..  ( I don't go HK for one month, but one month in TOTAL )

Anyway, I do enjoy my life, with my new baby and wife!

(of course, according to mr. T we are stucked in Canada. )
