Problem in Uninstall IE 8 beta

I upgraded from IE7 to IE8 beta but found IE8 doesn't support my Yahoo home page.  I decided to remove IE8 beta but I couldn't find IE8 beta from Control Panel -Remove software. (what's wrong with the Control Panel? or it's hiding somewhere else ?)
I then restored the XP system to the date before the IE8 beta installing. The IE8 is gone but my IE7 doesn't working.  It seems taking forever to wait for the IE7 connecting to the internet.
Any suggestion ?

Maybe you can download and reinstall IE7.

Use Firefox.... if can't uninstall.
