There was a lots of AT car to make a group then.  For those Velocity classes that I know, maybe only 2-3 AT cars max.

Yes, instructors were never distributed evenly.  They used to put all high HP car in one group and that group has the best instructor (Joe, Gary, Don, Farzaan, Alex, etc).

Not that these instructors want more fun, but they are the one capable to handle those beasts without ruining the car.

They once had a women Velocity school and my friend got Gary Milligan as her instructor.  Nice.

B2L2 wanna teach me? Are you an instructor?

No way you want someone rusty like me to teach you.  Get Derek, 字典仔, Jackie or Rogers.  Or just find a good driver with a similar car as your and asks for a ride.  Sure you will then learn something new.

lol.. they're not interested in my boring FWD AT.  You rusty, but I trust you. wahahha...

ACC-HE, when are you going out for your next event?  You need a co-driver?

Too bad my Miata wouldn't pass tech unless I fix the battery tie-down, otherwise I should take her out.  Watching spoonek4's video make my hand itchy.

don't know ah, still think TSX not really meant for AutoX.  A tight start corner already knocks down a cone or two, and the 2nd gear is quite boring w/o much torque.
Also, since it's an AT, once brake is applied, all rpm gone.

But I don't mind going maybe once a year if the weather's good.

Aiya, C Hing, in that case, you should totally go fix your battery tie down la. Come out and play mah.

And Acche, if you put the car into D2 or something, why would the revs be gone when you lift? And if autox really isn't your thing, maybe you can come out for track days la? There is one coming up wor?

rpm is gone once brake is applied, even though the gear is still locked at 2..

I didn't notice that before, but Mr. Dictionary pointed it out after he drove it, and he's right.

LFB (left foot braking) is what you need to master.  And you could practice that everyday in an AT car.    Just make sure your passengers don't break their neck.

Lik, I have been wanted to fix everything and come out.  But there is always something else get me occupied.     Just life.
