Doesn't surprise me at all. From my experience, I find that 9 out of 10 times when people ask me for car purchase advice, they really already have something in mind. Instead of impartial and objective analysis, they merely want reaffirmation on their decision. But it never comes out that way -- instead, they'll all pretend to be impartial and completely objective at first. But the moment when you prod them a little more, the truth comes out.

Oh well~

I went and checked it out.  They have one in white, but no test drive.

Touch and finish is good.  Size is small but usable.  Seats are made with those hard foam, light material with pattern.  The buttons on the panel are well made and doesn't wiggle.

Maybe 'cause Fit & Yaris has been out for so long, this Fiesta is fresh and fun.  Hope it works out well for Ford.

I have no doubt about Ford quality because I owned a Ford Escort for 10+ years before and it was great before it got totaled by a C9 who did not know how to drive at night

I would buy the new Fiesta if it has the same carrying capacity as my Fit and if I can sell my Fit at a good price
