most of the MB i have worked on are running individual coil, in which no shop would replace all 6 or 8 of them for you unless they found it f ...

my old mercedes had a similar problem. What kind of gas do you fill up? MB recommend you to go to Cheveron or Husky supreme only (ha, sorry I can't spell, the 92 one la)

a long time ago, my mom went to Superstore gas station due to cheapness. She saw a C230 died right outside the station, but didn't pay attention to it. After driving one block, our car died. The car had similar symptom as your car, and we went to service as many times as you did. End up they found water vapour in the gas tank. They have to empty the tank and change all the jets (whatever they are called la, I am not a car person).

but I still recommend you to sell the car back to the dealership........... cuz after we finally fixed the car, although it was still running ok, the performance was not as good as before. We couldn't return it at that time cuz it's mom's stupidity... but for your case, you should return it!

poor mercedes...  i wonder why people are still buying them... and buying them used!! Is it just because you wanna show off you are driving a mercedes (or courtesy car from mercedes)?

My 03 Odyssey, 130 000km, has never been back to the dealership except routine maintenances... same for my 04 Altima, 105 000km now... and they drink superstore regular gas almost every week.

Seriously, ML is really such a bad car, if I see a SUV coming by with one of the headlight not working, I know it's a ML... it's really so bad that the lights burnt faster.

唔，似乎架ml 同land rover 開始有得比喇…啲問題一樣係咁多。
唯一我感覺倒唔同既就係，land rover 可能易整少少，唔係「超」大鑊既都可以唔駛入廠攪。
噢…係呀，我有架land rover，check engine light 一年都會著幾次…而且唔係呢度有事就係嗰度有事，不過已經慣晒，由以前對車咩都唔識攪到而家自己落手落腳去整。
冇計，自己架車又冇warranty，唔想辧法自己整既話就要俾多幾倍既價錢出嚟俾車行整。
sky 如果你有每一次既check engine code，post 上嚟或者一班汽車愛好老友記可以俾倒更多既意見俾你。

you must don't understand that a MB got a lot of high tech stuff than your odyssey.  If you drive a car that only has four wheels, a engine and a transmission, nothing elso to break down, just like a 20 yrs old tercel or corolla.

well... a car with high tech stuff doesn't mean it should break down or easier to break down. A engineer should built it so that it last.

Seriously, I don't think a ML350 has much high tech stuff. I dont' think it has a superior engine management system if it needs to go back to dealership every few months, I don't think it is high tech if it doesn't work, and i don't think a car that burnt halogen headlight as high tech.

We are here talking about the fundamental stuff that are breaking down, things that are low-tech and part of "four wheels, a engine and a transmission"...

If we are talking about a radar cruise control breaking down, auto-leveling headlights, or an automatic parallel parking system, that's a different story.
