we been there for Mid night Dinner 10:30 some time, wow, a big table of Mainland China people smoking,speaking Mandarin very loud. The boss & waiters seem familiar with themand did nothing. We changed the table , still smell the second hand smoke & cannot chat with my friend. Aslo Sevice were very bad, cold food. everything were terrible. We stayed there only 30 min and gone at once. WORST~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A very interesting situation:
There are many, well at least 20 that I know(not personally)
Vietnamese coffee shops would close at 5pm, then operate
as private venues. You can see people smoking, drinking
and gambling inside. Apparently all illegal and I doubt they
file income tax either. At one occasion, the owner unlocked apinball machine and there were piles of cash inside, about $10-12 K.
He uses the machine as a safe, the question is: why would he
keep so much cash in his tiny coffee shop?
I don' think it is a good location for any kind of restaurant. In addition, I believe Richmond already has way too many restaurants. Another "me too" restaurant in a bad location demands a lot of courage and confidence. Plus, the skills to outplay other rivals.
