The main reason hongers dont like free walkers, (inlcluding me) is they drive up the price on everything ...  luxury clothing .. watches ..  bags .. etc ...  

I recall ~10plus yr ago, when shopping at Joyce, LC, Emperor etc .. good and fast service, great advice, very relax enironment, no pushing ..  and of course, great price! (compared to rest of the word)

Now? no more la..  crazy listed price, always packed, no sales like to serve you, pushing, (just ask if you buy or not) not much "trying" ...  more or less, need "connection" to shop for some stuffs ..

    I guess not only luxury store has changed...but main "problem" is that the rent has be driven up, the smaller shores forced to go to other places (or simply disappears...)

    Of course many live a luxury life and boost up the sales of the luxury goods. (otherwise not that many ferrari on the street...)
btw..I saw a Ferrarri with N sign last week...

But also many middle-class like everyone else and they would like to grab baby formula, medicine, 日用品 etc because HK product is more trust worthy...

Mainland China is just like Canada. Canadians need to pay taxes at the border on the way back. The Chinese customs collect taxes at the border as well.
