I deal with Monster, Sennheiser, Shure headphones (not ear buds), Monster has good bass for hiphop, rock, things that are heavy in bass. The lowest Solo and Solo HD are pretty bad. I was testing the Pro and the Studio, they are good quality/built headphones.

Sennheiser and Shure are decent headphones for those who are interested for pure vocal, acoustics as they are softer.

To be honest, Beats are not even good in my opinion, just marketing, same goes with Bose... these guys are selling you a brand more than a decent product. You can do some research in here: http://www.head-fi.org/products/category/over-ear

Bose do make good products if they aren't overpriced on some of their products.  Yet, the QC15 is actualy quite good.  In this case, you may find products out there that sounds as good as Bose for less, for me, it's the comfort. level that wins.  My brother is into Shure, and I have a set of good Shure earbuds as well.

Um ....  I think BOSE is ..  ok .. ( not sure about their head phone )

But their home audio, car audio .. are good price ..  I guess BOSE/JBL etc are quite good choice for limited budget ...  just don't expect detail ...

去完PHILIP比果個HEAD-FI SITE﹐ 最後揀左 SENNHEISER HD280 PRO. 求其LOAD首MP3 (陳小春- 我不是偉人)﹐ 個SENNHEISER D VOCAL 好過我隻LOGITECH GAMING HEADPHONE 好多倍。 人聲幾透徹﹐鋼琴聲/查查聲有層次﹐結他聲我未識分辨。

Not a big fan of Bose and... Monster is just not my cup of tea....
Too much bass, too many kids wearing them around...
Looking into getting a comfee Sennheiser or Shure for office use (i.e. prob mostly MP3 or online radio)
