I'm using Shaw internet & iTalkBB. I'm not sure if it's because of the slow internet, the performance of iTalkBB is pretty bad...few days ago I just upgraded Shaw modem & will monitor if the phone service will improve.

Most likely it will not. The other forum has section of iTalkBB and one of their representative always advised people using shaw to switch to Telus becuase Telus uses dedicated line instead of Shaw using shared Internet...
i am using italkBB + shaw internet. i have no problem so far. same quality as land line. maybe it is becos my internet connection is ok around my area. its good only when ur internet connection is good. if u know ur internet connection is unstable or many ppl share a single line, don't use it
been using it for over 1.5 yrs... I used another company (dolphin) which was a total nightmare so maybe why I'm quite happy with them
Reliablility:
Had problem 3 times: 1st time they have someone on phone (my cellphone) for hours an also proactively call back try to fix the problem.. end up I try unplug and plug the rounter and problem solve .. another twice recently, which the problem go away after 2 days (the tech also talk over the phone for hours), and and last time they screw up when they upgrad their system and off for a day. Luckily the las two time the problem is only on international call.
Tech support:
Very good. The tech pickup the phone less then a mins and they do work hard to ty fix the problem (and seem to me most problem is casue by ago old router, also I'm the early subscriber which they gave me a Linksys adpter, and I heard this adopter actually not working very well with their network).
The tech centre seem to be in China, so they will be speaking chinlish.. not a but issue for me as I speak chinlish (they do have someone speak cantonese lately)..
At least, they are way better then shaw (2 hours on waiting line, router to some cornor on earth with no tech knowledge), or the dolphin (they only have a voicemail box and never call back to try to fix anything, with very creative accounting charges)
Contract: I don't have. I prepaid for whole year (yes, a bit scary at 1st, but I'm so mad with dolphin). At that time prepaid have free goodie of 200min international on cellphone which work on great for me (it's by min., however, but over limit is still as cheap as close to calling card rate)
Voice Quality: No problem ever (and dolphin: in 3 month with them 50% of time people can't hear me on other end) ... Well, my home is on old shaw contract with big brandwidth, and we only use internat for surfing (no downloading), so i guess my option doesn't count i guess.
