nope, that only means a burnt light bulb!

but if u haven't changed that for a long while, better also have it checked too

are you sure? i googled for the transmission, there is no light bulb for that.....
and i don't think there's space for transmission light bulb........

The tranny is under the car.... what you see inside is just the control box...
There are crap load of space for a light bulb under that shifter neh...
and... if a light bulb is needed, I bet they can make space to put a light bult in the tranny LOL

i guess u should seek some real professional help, cuz seems like you dunno much about cars and it is a little bit hard to explain to you?!

i have the light off for a period of time......more than 4 years what a crap
and i still drive it....ahahaha

then it's just the gear indicator on the console, a cheap light bulb to replace (pretty expensive for a tiny bulb, i think it's close to $10 but last u years, while the older corolla use a $0.50 bulb)...

labor will probably be about $30 tho, i guess no biggie if u have been driving around like that for 4 years...

yet if u said u haven't changed ur transmission fluid for so long, better do it soon ;)

No kidding!!! I got one for $14.  Then the bulb behind the clock costs $8.
And the stupid clock bulb burned out again few weeks ago LOL

Doesnt matter who changed the fluids, the important part is make sure it had been properly tghtened, watch for any leak after.
