You gals are so good at glitter and embossing, those difficult techniques.....
I rarely do those it kinda get messy easily
Maybe I should buy some of the powder myself and try them too
Thanks 草莓妹妹 for teaching me on this as well
HaHa ... thank so much for the explaining, you girls =)
HaHa I finalli went to Michael =) w/ my 50% coupons xP
I can't realli find all my stamp from so many years ago lol...
And I dun wanna 2 spell $$... n buy random stamps
that I dun even know what i m gonna do with them...
derefor instead of the ink pad...
I decided to buy the VersaMarker watermarker pen xP
For embossing powder,
I dunno which brand was good, n I guess the stamp n stuff was the only brand...
so I hav no choice lol...
I bought the detail clear embossing powder as a starter xP
lastly, when i ask abt the pen,
The ppl work dere tell mi that i hav to buy a gun...
I was thinking do I hav 2 ... ?!?!?!
HaHa...Well I only printed 2, 50% coupons, =.=
N the gun was quite expensive T.T $40.00
N it was out of expect 2...
So I didn't buy it... >.>
N no 1 mention abt I needed a heat gun... hahahahaha... =.=
I thought the hair dryer would work =.=
but I guess it didn't work... haha...
Hair dryer doesn't work. I tried mines.... not working well. I ended up buyign the heat gun in the States and it's much cheaper down there. I got it at 14.99 with the 40% off. I like it and I got the M.S. brand. works well with me. =)
Otherthan using a heatgun, you can also use a traveller size iron. U just need to flat the handle part down and then place an aluminum foil on top of the iron and then place ur card on top. It will for sure melt the embossing powder. (Cuz that was how I'm Impressed ppl taught me when I was in grade 5. Cuz at that time they had those cardmaking workshops in our school.)
Interesting..! That's what I've been doing -was too cheap to buy the heat gun. Putting aluminum foil on top is a good idea.. protects the flat iron.. Might need to keep moving the card too when trying to melt the powder, cuz sometimes I have no patience, turn ceramic iron on high + put card on the same spot for say ~10sec .. that part of the card turned "wavy"..
