   Yeah...I saw the emboss resist technique on HA site..I tried those steps 5 times but can't get a crisp image ...just dunno why...I will show you what I did next time...

    Which part did you have problem?  And for this techinque, I think it's better to use it with good quality paper.  Cuz once, when I use so low quality cardstocks, you can see those paper pieces rubbing off from the paper.

    Would it be the embossing powder is overheated and it got soaked into the paper?

    maybe, but if i don't heat enough the powder does not "melt" wor...
if i use the same stamp that Jennifer Mcguire uses, then it's ok as the line is not as fine.
but i can't get a good result w/ the poppy stamp.
