I dont get it ..  so . .. is it the seller will pay $300 for whoever to take over his left over contract???  those city fido plan .. only good for calling other fido number within Vancouver, right?

But less and less people with Fido now ..

I think you are trying to sell your plan for $300, I want to let you know it's not gonna happen because you are not allowed to transfer it to another person. Either keep it or lose it forever.

Yape, i sell this number to you for $300 + sim card, and the contract will end around Feb 2010. You can call any number you want ANYTIME, just like bringing your HOME PHONE outside and make phone call.

Thats right, i will let the buyer know that name can't be change on the account, but i can put the buyer's name n address on, the buyer will still have the rights to change anything in the account.  Also i will fully explain to the buyer abt all the terms that they need to know, after that, its their choice to buy it or not, and thx for YOUR REMINDER!

Oh .. now I get it .. from Jan 2009 - feb 2010 ..  13 month left .. and normally $40 a month, and you sell this for $300, so instead of paying $520 ( + tax ) Buyer just pay you $300, and you look after the rest 13 month.. so . . save the buyer $120 .. and you dont hv to pay big penalty!

That makes sense .. just like taking over lease on a car!

i have seen this case before...you won't like me for saying this but what can happen is a lose-lose situation. You can screw up your credit and whoever pays you $300 will not be guaranteed to have the plan. This is because you are the owner, and the account is created under your credit information (you are financially responsible), therefore if you want to take the plan back in the future, all you need to do is call Fido and remove the name of the authorized user. The owner is the only one who can cancel the account, the person you sell it to will only be the authorized user. An authorized user cannot cancel the plan and cannot guarantee that you won't take the plan back in the future.

what you should be more afraid of is, whoever buys your plan can renew a 3 year contract to get an iPhone for free and rack up your bill like crazy....please don't do this to yourself.

its $300 to take over, the person still have to pay monthly

why would the ancient city fido take over of one year worth $300?  

why would i take the risk of not having the plan under my own name after paying $300?

why would you take the risk of someone wrack up your credit with $500 paying to fido?

Not get it at all...   =P

Just curious... did anyone pay and take over the plan before and how much you had paid?
