The new Shaw internet reality – Bandwidth caps (part 1-3)

Lucky, my FIOS (Fiber Internet) has no bandwidht cap, and I do use Netflix for my son often enough

From what I can see in secure.shaw.ca, Shaw will be updating the usage monitor to show more accurate info. I am curious to find out how accurate it will be... they were never accurate because I use SSL based Usenet like crazy and it doesn't show up at all.

This is way before BT and any P2P stuff. It has literally everything there and it is the first place "sceners" releases their release. Usenet is decentralized, and populate very quickly globally (merely minutes), and you won't get caught doing stuff there as there are nothing to trace. With SSL encryptions provided for free, it can bypass all the throttles from ISP, so speed can go as fast as your connection speed.

Just downloaded LBP2 for PS3 under 9 hours with 800KB/s.

post some tutorial ho wor~

To give tutorial is too long... and Usenet is filled with tons of junk (text), it takes time to sort out the junk and get to the good stuff.

The FAQ is a good start http://www.binsearch.info/, and you have to pay to get on Usenet these days; a small price to pay compare to downloading hours on BT when I can do it in half that time.

Stop The Meter On Your Internet Use

We urgently need to send a clear message to Ottawa, saying that we won't stand by while some of the most profitable companies in the country indiscriminately add news fees to our Internet bills. Enough is enough.
