Do the bridesmaids (Caucasian and Asian) actually host a bridal shower for the bride (Asian) and share the total cost of it? If so, would that count part of ‘the gift’ (aka 人情) to the bride? The Caucasian bridesmaid asked everyone else in the bridal shower that they MUST give a HUGE 人情 when they join the Asian dinner banquet. The Caucasian prepared everything for the bridal shower yet unable to provide receipts upon proof of purchase and claimed that the whole party of 10 girls costs $250! Not only that, was telling the Asian bridesmaid that it’s ONLY shared between bridesmaid, not any other girls who have invited. Yet, the other girls did ask the Caucasian girl how much they should be chipping in. What makes it worse is that the Asian bridesmaid saw other girls giving money to this Caucasian bridesmaid!
sigh, so much wedding drama, seems like brides and bridesmaids are looking to milk as much $ as they could from people around them, how sad.
The food from the picture looks like it would cost abount $150, plus cake....maybe a present for the bride as well?
I think Asian bridesmaid should ask the other one since she saw other girls handing $ to the other BM, just to "make sure" that it's still to be split between 2 BMs...
