Is stock option class works?

I attended the ibrokerpower seminar last week, and it taught how to use stock options to protect the asset, and know how to earn money in dropping marketing and shift-move market.  It sounds very interesting, and I am motivated to join, but I need more options here.

Does anyone attend their class before?  Is that useful?  I'm also pre-registrate the class, anyone else is interested to the cause, or we can share cost together.

i heard of this as well.  Someone tells me that the bank won't let people to open the account to trade options.

In this case, so poor people cannot use those strategies to protect their assets?  Only rich people can.

under the bank regulations, banks cannot offer stock/option trading accounts.  just like you don't get an stock trading account from td bank, but you can get it from td waterhouse. so you can open an option account from any full service brokerage or discount brokerage firms.
if you use option to protect your assets, it means you have lot of assets already, you won't be poor.  most people just trade options to make money, which is more risky.

Thanks for telling.  I only know that ideally stock options can protect the asset, it seems that I will not able to use this tactic in next decade.  HAHAHA

My friends told me that even people who play options, win money at the beginning, but it turns out that they lost all at last.
