Anyone can suggest which ones should I go for? I have no idea which to choose..cos I've never replaced the tires.
p.s.I am driving 1998 toyota corolla~
98 corolla should be 185/65R14? most snow tire will do and i think canadian tire on marine has some clearance sale on some michilin snow tires, go try it?
just make sure u get a set of 4, any snow tires will work better than ur all season and since u can probably go faster, remember snow tires can cause u into trouble too (can't stop, but of course same speed, same situation, still better than all season)...
and u might have to consider, steelies for those snow tires, or stock rims for snow tires and find some 15" for summer?!
There are some new tires for 08/09, one of them is the Michilin X-Ice Xi-2; the other one is General Tire Altimax Arctic (studdable).
As usual, Dunlop Sport M3, 3D and Pirelli Sottozero and SnowSport are popular choices for high-performance drivers.
Finally, if you are just driving a Corolla, the Hankook Ice Bear W300 are good value.
Bear in mind that winter tires are much softer, and it will wear our more. Also, due to the new law in Quebec with winter tires are mandatory; winter tires supplies are tighter than they used to be. You better switch ASAP or else you might not be able to get any.

Hankoo. not bad at all and not too expensive.
I'm using Hankoo Icebear W440 for the front wheels...
they are already better then the all-seasons.
