HELLO大家好,依個POST係我處男POST
有幾條問題想問問
先講我架車INFORMATION
6年既2手車 TOYOTA COROLLA 2萬5 MILEAGE

QUESTION 1: 我個dash有d嘈...開車果時
有2邊地方嘈,一個係乘客果邊既upper dash, airbag旁邊
如果我用隻手禁落去,no more rattle
早幾日開始我steering wheel 又有rattling,我分唔清佢係個STEERING WHEEL 定DRIVER'S DASH SIDE

去TOYOTA搞要$140 INSPECTION FEE,仲要唔100% SURE GETTING FIX OR NOT
有可能仲要收多D$
點算???

QUESTION 2: 我個OEM REAR TRUNK SPEAKER BUSTED OUT,係咪是但買返個岩SIZE既就PLUG&PLAY? 駛唔駛CONNECT WIRE,比較煩..'
            駛唔駛一次過換曬2個( REAR ) 定係一次過要換曬成架車果D SPEAKER ( FRONT&REAR )
             仲有咩叫做2-WAY SPEAKER 3-WAY SPEAKER?

QUESTION 3: 我架6年2手車岩岩買番黎,佢好低MILEAGE,有咩要特別注意?佢長期擺係度,我自己已經換左SPARK PLUG,OIL CHANGE,CHANGE BATTERY,我條SEPERTINE BELT CRACKED,下個星期去換,會唔會因為條BELT裂左所以有RATTLE FROM MY DASH? 仲有我FRONT BRAKE PAD INSPECT左之後有60% LIFE,仲可以用幾耐? 我駛唔駛 FLUSH BRAKE FUILD AND FILL IT UP? 仲有我POWER STEERING FLUID 好黑色,駛唔駛又FLUSH AND FILL?
仲有咩要特別注意架,我發覺我GAS MILEAGE麻麻, 25MPG CITY 32 HIGHWAY , TUNE-UP有無用? 不過我自己已經OIL CHANGE+REPLACE SPARK PLUG,依家去TUNE-UP會唔會浪費左之前果D $$$$$$$

你架車係25000km, 定係25000miles? Either way都好低, 最好係換左d波箱油 (toyota's fluid ONLY), 剎車油 (時間耐左, d油既水氣會好重)...可以既話coolant (toyota's coolant only)都換埋...

你用緊咩火咀? 有冇換風格? 六年車咁即係02 Corolla定03?

乘客果邊係禁airbag定係airbag旁邊先唔嘈? either way 我覺得架車有可能撞過, 好可能係個airbag裝唔實或個dash repair得唔好...especially你話司機果邊都響...

如果你買原廠喇叭, 咪可以換一個, 一般aftermarket既都要換一對...should be about the same work anyways...

2 way係高低音, 3 way係高中低音...

60% of brake life通常都仲可以行萬幾二萬, 渣得好三萬都得 (都要depends行咩路)

25MPG CITY, 32MPG HWY? so that's about 10.58km/L (9.45L/100km) CITY or 13.55km/L (7.38L/100km) HWY? that's not too bad at all cuz all city u should be able to get 500+km for CITY ONLY and 670km+ for HWY; if you think gas mileage is still not good enough, u should buy hybrid lol...

coolant要用TOYOTA?? coolant唔係入水咋咩=.=? i am confused
traNsmission fluid可唔可以自己換架?

Iridium 火咀,聽講幾耐用,可以用10萬miles,我自己手多多換曬4個SPARK PLUG,話曬都6年車,雖然佢unplug出黎果時好clean(damn,cost me a hundred buck), anyway,架車無撞過,賣車果個保證未撞過,如果唔係money back,我自己拎去inspect佢地都話無
我果架03 corolla s,換左剎車油會唔會爽d架? 我fix左driver果邊個rattle啦,因為個tire入左d石,till左出黎無事,至於air bag果邊個rattle我用d重野壓住,無曬rattle,好開心,好過拎去toyota整,今日去左問,佢地仲唔保證整到-.-頂佢

我個brake得番咁少命,你建唔建議依家拎出去比人做brake flush? 仲有fuel system cleaning有無用? 出去做一次$100= =

coolant 梗係唔係入水就得啦, 如果唔係都唔駛有coolant呢樣野...toyota用果隻係特別coolant, 如果你溝其他既落去之後既顏色會變到屎一樣, 都唔知佢係唔係乾淨...仲有我發覺例如water pump都會容易漏水左, 水箱又容易塞左...

一般你架toyota既coolant最好四至五年或48000km(whichever comes FIRST, which is already overdue for your case)換一次; 如果會自己DIY既小心架車overheat啦...

至於波箱油, 你識既可以自己換...

Iridium火咀$100? 連人工差唔多啦; well 你可以用10萬Miles, d coil死得快d咁jei...

你攞去比邊到睇呀? 我有朋友比某某公司睇完連架車係rebuild都唔知喎...有好多話同佢check完呢樣果樣, 到最後都係都個吹字, compression test做完又冇reading...etc...

well...我唔知你放咩重野壓住個airbag / dash, 不過我祝你好運啦, 有咩事果件重野加埋個airbag打埋黎, 唔死就出奇!!!

60%唔算少架喇, 你返原廠整囉, 岩岩先inspect完兩架, 50%同70%left比原廠叫換...我就真係做唔出喇...

brake flush唔會令架車爽D, 不過個brake會"應"D (硬d同停得consistent d)....

fuel system cleaning, 我都係用Motul 既Fuel System Cleaner, 用到冇油入枝落去, 再加d靚油出hwy爆一輪, 爽晒....都係三十零蚊....

睇黎你都唔知架車夠竟要d咩, 好似咁盲目咁整既? 咁good luck啦...haha

我聽日去換條sepertine belt同brake fluid flush&fill, 2個+埋$100連人工...好似幾平
我擺左個cd盒爽係windshield同dash中間,壓住and then無曬rattle, it works.
brake唔換住,唸住用到吱吱聲先換,希望brake flush可以有用啦..$20都算平

kayi078: $20 for brake flush? not included bleed brakes ga? that's at least 40 mins to bleed and flush a brake system, $20? 買brake油都唔夠 haha...

不廠條皮帶唔貴, $80差唔多啦, 10分鐘人工? haha

brake, dun use it until last minute; should change around 20% left, metal to metal is actually very dangerous and that will damage ur brake rotors too!

shutterbug: well i just dun like how many ppl are treating their car...not very often i can see a 3 years old car is still in good shape, usually it will need some love already...so i wouldn't mind answering questions while i can, have been doing this on other forums for many years already....

OK I guess you wouldn't mind answering my question too.  With so many drive by wire cars out there, I wonder how a mechanic blip the throttle these days while working on the car?  We used to hang on to the cable "wheel" on the throttle body to do it....

good question but my only answer is can't do it...and i totally hate drive by wire as i have replaced gas pedal sensor and earlier version of drive by wire's throttle body! i only found it no feel (less feedback) at all

ha can't do???  that's so stupid...mechanic wives slept with engineers again???  ( meaning bad design that screwed mechanics...)

I have a drive by wire car and I don't know how to blip the throttle from outside....AND I don't like the throttle response too, too twitchy...
