I bought my winter tires and wheels as a set from Tirerack 2 winters ago and picked them up at Point Roberts.  The saving back then was pretty substantial.  With the high Canadian dollars now, I think you can save even more.  I wouldn't lie to the customs to be honest and just let them charge me with tax and duty.  Most of the time you still end up saving more even after paying tax compared to shopping locally.

i freak out when I start rolling back on a hill -_-''

sorry u r taking to a car idiot here
steel rims = wheels?

rims = the metal part of the wheel (the round ones)
tires = the rubbers on the outside of the wheel

Wheels = tires + rims

They have this incentive program for the tire dealers, is to RAT on you when u get a set of new tires. By the time u arrive at Can customs, they knew that u had new tires, is your duty to report the new items. If u didnt report then is a crime la.

I heard of this guy was smart he has a locker down there. By the time he came across he had switched back to old tires. The agents thought they're going to get a Big bonus.
Lo n behold they cannot find 4 new tires as snitched by the dealer down there!
So Caveat Emptor
