Never heard of that brand, I think it's probabaly a fake. Reputable brands that I know include: Laser Park Pro, Lidatek, Blinder, Target.

I've met a guy in Delta, he has a lidar gun and he constantly come out and test laser jamming devices. Check out his YouTube videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/gomouse

Since Laser Park Pro has been known to work very well with VPD's laser (caz they are old), I was thinking about getting one myself.

Laser Jammer is perfectly legal across the country, because FCC regulation only applies to radar signal only. Laser jammers are passive devices which will activate upon the detection of IR beam at 904-906nm. To prevent suspicicion from law enforcement, most jaser jammer will recycle itself after 20-30 seconds.

Based on the video down below, you can see that cops usually shoot at about 300-400m away. You really only get less than 5 sec of reaction time before the jammer recycles:

Laser Jammer is illegal while Laser DETECTOR is legal; yet if u are not speeding, why would u need that?

i speed, so i use one

u know, some time it's just ridicuous to get caught going 6x on the road while no one is there; i see cops on marine drive last thur night from 11pm to 1am! hiding in the dark and walking out is just like killing themselves!

I find it ridiculous too, unless you have a ValentineOne, chances of getting a laser alert and be able to slow down and not get pulled over is close to impossible (I tried ).

Radar jammer is illegal no questions asked because they are active device that violates FCC regulation. Laser jammer is another story because it is not under FCC, but the cops can still ticket you because they can charge you with interfering a speed measuring device. Again, that only applies when you are stupid enough to tell the cops. That's why the laser jammers recycle after 20 sec so the cops don't get too suspicious.

Since laser jammer are hidden under the grill, chances of getting noticed and caught for it is minimal. Our local police's lidar gun are super old to give a "jammed" error messages anyways. They usually check their gun and move on to the next one.

If I drive super fast or if I own an expensive sport car, I will probably invest in one like that. For mediocre car like mine, I j use LaserVeil and my Whistler Pro detector. I think I talked about Veil in the past, anyways: http://radartest.com/article.asp?articleID=10056
