Miss this post tim.  I am now shooting with the 5Dm3, it's a night and day when compares to the 5Dm2.  Not so much on the image quality, but it's 1 step closer to the 1D series which I enjoy shooting alot more for professional weddings.
For some people, going from a xxD to the FF is an upgrade that cost.  For me, it's actually able to spend less to get something better than my old 1Dsm3.

I originally found that the 61AF are far to close and not wide spread enough, yet after using having it for about a week now.  I found the AF at least as good as the original 45AF points on the 1D series.  Personally, the 1st thing I did is to only use the cross focus, and disable the non cross AF points.  In most cases, I use single selective AF point.  They offer 2 modes.  1 with normal AF point size, but also offer as smaller AF point for precise focusing as well.
Base on review and photos I look at so far.  I think the D800 is actually a better camera when it comes to IQ.  I would have pick Nikon over Canon if it isn't because I have already owned the system.  (Lens & flashes, etc)
There are a few reasons why the 5Dm3 is better than the old one, or other XXD cameras.
1> The AF, if you shoot large aperture prime lens with (f/2, 1.8 etc..), you have so little in focus where the greater reduce tthe margin of errors when it comes to re-compose after focus.
2> Starting from the 7D, the 5Dm3 is the only other non 1D series camera to allow the top wheel to be use for aperture changes in both Av and M mode.  It's a big deal for me, since Av and M mode are what I use the most.  (Nikon users are always lucky enough to have the top wheel for aperture, and rear wheel for shutter)
3> AF Micro-adjustment (Calibration)  Again, the larger your lens aperture, the more important this is.  All my lenses that are use to be focus perfectly with my 1Dm2 which don't have micro-adjustment, they all require a good level of adjustment on the newer Canon DSLR.  I think Canon lower their torences for their camera.  Without the adjustment capability, you may run into all kind OOF image.
4> The HDR feature is actually quite fun.  I find it working quite well so far.

Honestly, I think IQ on the 5dm3 is not that much better than the 5dm2, but my #1 & #2 list above was enough for me to make the move.  I was going to wait for the 1Dx, and cancel my 5dm3 deposit when I thought I wouldn't be able to swap the wheel function on M mode.

咁，如果真系要拍over 3個鐘既star trail (在下未拍過) ,  人嘅factor 是哪一方面呢 ？ 可否舉例真實拍攝過程中，那個人怎樣在3個鐘既star trail 會有不同factor?  謝謝~~(唔好誤會在下包拗頸,  在下是真係唔明）
