有冇 LYK屋企整/換過屋頂呀(普通 standard size 嘅屋， cedar木)？ 要大慨預幾多錢同要注意啲咩野嫁？ 有冇人可以 recommend 有信譽嘅 contractor 呀？

BBB = better business bureau.

cedar roofing is relatively expensive and it requires maintenance.  You could easily replace them with the most cost effective asphalt shingles these days... around $4k to $6k + tax.

Normal size house?  Where do you live?  Vancouver or Burnaby?  Normal Burnaby size is much larger already.

4k to 6k???  that's a little low even for shingles these days.

If you have a roof around 2000 sq ft, be prepared to pay 8-10k to convert from cedar to shingles.

Nobody will work on your roof when it's raining, it's too dangerous!

我住喺 Vancouver嫁～ 有個鄰居哩輪鋪咗新 cedar木屋頂， 佢話大慨 ＄16k喎。。。 中國人 contractor, 話包 warranty, 究竟 warranty 係可唔可靠嫁？ 會唔會過一兩年就閃人嫁？

warranty if not from large reputable companies, like Sears, Home Depot, don't expect too much...haha

if you're willing to pay that amount, also consider aluminum roofing
