i know a very very good doc~ but it's a male doc... i heard that now they hv changed the policy that if you live in richmond, you can only go to the richmond hospital, and same as vancouver, burnaby.. because there are not enough space for everyone.. depending on where you put your address for your care card..??

When did they change the policy?  My friend just went to Richmond's hospital in April and she lives in Vancouver.

hmm... i actually forgot, it was this year that i found out.. but i believe it was back in 2007? not too sure. the thing is that a lot of ladies they want to go to woman's hospital, because it is believe the best out of the rest of the hospitals.

some people were saying that because the hospitals are really lack in the number of spots available and some women are unlucky that they would need to go to the near by hospitals in the states or inner BC by helicopter ready to give birth

why don't you ask your family doc?

yup...depend what you live but sometimes if your Dr. who work in BC women , so you can stay there

your family doc would usually suggest a few if your doc isn't one to deliver a baby
